Marcus is a partner of OBJECT TERRITORIES, a critical design practice located in Hong Kong and New York that works at the intersection of architecture, landscape, and urbanism. Marcus' interests lie in the machinations of the contemporary urban environment as well as architecture's catalytic potential in this climate. He has broad experience on projects in North America, Asia, and Europe including master plans, office & hotel towers, institutional buildings and residential projects. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas, studying in Rome during that time, and a Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture, where he was editor of Perspecta. Marcus is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a registered architect in New York. He teaches at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and is a student mentor for the Architectural is Free Foundation.
