James is a Board Director of ReardonSmith with over 30 years' experience of architectural practice, much of it focused on luxury hotel design and handling sensitive hotel restorations and extensions in London and abroad. Notable projects include, Claridges London circa 1996-1999 , The Connaught London circa 1998-2000, Monestera Santa Rosa , Amalfi Italy circa 2000-2007, Four Seasons London circa 2007 - 2011and St Petersburg circa 2011-2013, The Beaumont Hotel London circa 2010 - 2014, Adare Manor Golf Resort Hotel Ireland circa 2014 - 2017. He is currently heading a team responsible for the creation of the new Chancery Rosewood Hotel in Grosvenor Square within the former Eero Saarinen designed American Embassy.
