In addition to still serving as a "means of transportation for human travel", new energy intelligent vehicles have subverted all the production and usage logics of the internal combustion engine era over the past hundred years from various aspects. A dynamic state has become the norm for organizations and individuals today. New energy intelligent vehicles are evolving daily, making it impossible to design their architectural spaces with fixed expectations. The design of XPENG Motors' new headquarters building is also the case. The design scheme breaks the segmentation limitations of the original plot. Based on a unified consideration of functions and areas, the volume is generated by using the simplest methods of setback, full paving, and stretching. Then, through the cutting of the aviation height limit surface, the volume presents a dynamic feeling. In addition to common functions such as office, research and development, reception, and display, the entire building complex also incorporates core industrial functions, including automotive engineering R&D, vehicle interior and exterior design evaluation, and new vehicle testing. As the headquarters of a leading car company, in addition to the common visiting function, an independent XPENG Motors flagship store, a shared conference center, and a designated takeoff and landing site for flying cars will be established outside the main building. This is a large - scale science and technology complex in the true sense. The understanding of XPENG's product aesthetics is reflected in the building's form, details, functions, and temperament, echoing the new cars that will be born here in the future.
