The project is located in the Qingyang Headquarters Economic Zone of Chengdu. The overall positioning of the area is a comprehensive headquarters community covering high value-added business forms such as office, commercial, hotel, sports center and art center. As the park gateway, the northern plot will host a headquarters complex that gathers innovative ideas, carries new productive forces, and activates social and community functions. The overall planning arranges buildings at the main urban interface, while facing the inner park retreats to urban square, forming a skyline that is lower inside and higher outside. The large area of elevated space on the ground floor not only provides a pleasant commercial environment, but forms a good interaction with urban public spaces. The sunken garden connects the commercial and art center on the basement with the urban roads, providing people with a leisure place. The two office buildings are connected by a suspended foyer. The floating and elevated design provides excellent publicity and visibility, meanwhile makes business activities smoother. The headquarters lobby is ingeniously suspended on the second floor, forming a glass box with a clear height of 10 meters. The design sets a circular hole with a diameter of 7 meters on the foyer roof, which forms the traditional Chinese symbolic layout of "round sky and square earth". The circular hole is covered with 16cm thick super-transparent acrylic as the skylight material, and shallow pool is covered above, which becomes an important part of the aerial landscape. Entering the headquarters building from the foyer, an 8-storey ultra-pure style atrium comes into view. Circular inner corridors connect all office areas, and a longitudinal shortcut staircase set in the center further enhances the collaboration efficiency between different floors and departments. The fully automatic skylight on the atrium top creates a blowing effect, giving the space a comfortable temperature, creating a pleasant staying environment, and greatly improving the lighting and ventilation conditions of the headquarters area.
