This project serves as the new corporate headquarters for ELAN, a leading IC design firm based in Taiwan. Conceived as an iconic urban gateway along the highway, the two office towers are interconnected by an elevated Innovation Bridge, unifying them into a singular architectural gesture. Through a dynamic interplay of solid and void elements, this composition generates a diverse spatial sequence of workplaces, amenities, and gardens, all linked by the Vertical Avenue as a ‘micro-city.’ The Innovation Bridge, a Vierendeel truss structure, spans approximately 36 meters across the top levels, providing large, flexible interior floor plans ideal for research and design. The Vertical Avenue, which acts as the central vertical circulation spine, is defined by eight transparent elevators rising directly from the lobby. The stepped garden within the central void connects all amenity spaces and serves as the visual centerpiece, creating a free-roaming, interactive experience while offering panoramic views.

The building’s facade is a harmonious blend of linear aluminum sunshade panels and low-emissivity glass, forming a curtain wall that subtly echoes the refined aesthetics of the client’s touch-based products. The architectural language extends into the landscape through a “three-dimensional forest” concept, where greenery is layered across multi-level terraces. A generous open space at ground level offers a seamless connection to the adjacent park to the north. Reflecting the client's commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental quality, digital simulation analysis was integrated into the early design stages. These crucial studies optimized the project's wind flow, thermal performance, and overall microclimate.
