Yi Zhou

Zhou Yi is the founder of Dayi Design, an architecture and interior design studio established in 2020, based in Jiangyin, China. With a degree from Nanjing University and international study and work experience, Zhou brings a cross-cultural design perspective rooted in local sensibility. A member of the Architectural Society of China, council member of the Wuxi Interior Design Association, and a visiting professor at the Art Department of Jiangyin College, she is dedicated to exploring the emotional and spatial relationships between people and their environments. Her work blends tradition with innovation, integrating local cultural context with new materials, vibrant colors, and contemporary expressions. She advocates for design that honors heritage while speaking to younger generations, interpreting Jiangnan culture through a modern lens.
