

Tomas Stokke
Founding Director , Haptic Architects
Tomas Stokke co-founded Haptic Architects in 2009. As a Norwegian national based in the London, Tomas oversees Haptic's international work splitting his time between Haptic's Oslo and London offices. Tomas leads some of Haptic's major projects, such as the Norwegian Government Headquarters, Noida International Airport and Athens International Airport. He oversees Haptic's Research and Development, Haptic Green, and has taught, lectured, exhibited, and been published internationally. He is a member of the Van Alen Institute's International Council, supporting the creation of equitable cities through inclusive design. He also liaises closely with the Oslo Metropolitan Area (OMA) group and is a programme co-ordinator for Oslo Urban Week. Tomas believes strongly in international collaboration – working with his network of practices across the globe to make people happy through thoughtful and sustainable design.
