Peter Bordas

Peter Bordas, founder and CEO of BORD Architectural Studio, established the practice in 2006 to create inspiring, atmospheric spaces. His work—marked by harmony with nature, dynamic rhythm, and timeless elegance—has become a defining presence in contemporary Hungarian architecture. A graduate of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Peter brings more than two decades of experience, leading projects from concept to completion. In recognition of his achievements, he received the prestigious Ybl Miklos Prize in 2024. Under his leadership, the studio operates offices in Budapest, Debrecen, and Zurich, pursuing sustainable, balanced, and aesthetically engaging environments. He believes architecture has the power to enhance well-being, foster creativity, and strengthen communities. Beyond the studio, Peter’s passion for sports endures: once a BMX racer, he now devotes his free time to running, snowboarding, and sailing.
