Architect Murat Tabanl (RIBA, Int'l Assoc. AIA), a graduate of Vienna University of Technical, is renowned for bridging infrastructure, culture, and public life in award-winning projects across four continents. From Istanbul's Atatrk Cultural Center‚ cultural icon reimagined‚ the luminous Milas-Bodrum International Airport, Istanbul Sapphire's skyline-defining presence, and the waterfront revival of Hali Shipyard, his works are not only architectural feats but experiential narratives. Other award-winning works include Loft Gardens (RIBA International Award 2011), Bodrum Airport (RIBA 2013), Beyazƒ±t State Library (Mies van der Rohe finalist 2017, Aga Khan finalist 2019) Equally invested in curatorial and conceptual thinking, Murat Tabanlƒ±oƒülu curated the Turkish Pavilion at the 14th Venice Architecture Biennale (2014) with Places of Memory, and exhibitions like Port City Talks. Istanbul. Antwerp. at MAS Antwerp (Europalia 2015), and Re- composing AKM in Berlin (2018).
