David Tigg

David thrives on the excitement of a new site and opportunity and his enthusiasm for what architecture can achieve in improving people's lives is carried through from first sketch through to project completion on site. He has an unrelenting attitude to good design and ensures that these standards are upheld in each and every project in the studio. With his experience at scale, boundless energy and creativity David primarily leads the larger development side of the studio as well as relishing in the challenges of delivering complex projects no matter the size or typology. Prior to establishing Tigg + Coll Architects, David worked at some of the leading Architectural Design practices in the UK, Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Marks Barfield Architects, working at a variety of scales on a comprehensive range of project typologies. In this period he honed his skills in both the design and construction of a cross section of building typologies including Arena and convention centres, commercial office space, prime and community residential and educational buildings.
