Chenping Han

Dr. Han Chenping is a professor of China University of Mining and Technology and a chief architect and founder of Han Chenping Studio and insists on using modern technology to address the resource, environmental, and social crises faced by developing countries. He mainly engages in research on architectural design and construction technology under special and complex environmental conditions, smart buildings that are movable and variable, symbiotic design of "Human- Machine- Building- Environment", etc. As a professor, he has published 5 academic monographs and 47 academic journal papers. The book Mobile building Design Theory and Method he wrote and published is the first and only academic book about mobile architectural design in China. He has obtained 7 authorized national invention patents in China, 2 authorized innovation patents in Australia. As an Architect, he has completed over 60 architectural design projects, his design works won many important international awards such as the World Architecture News Awards(2024), World Architecture Festival WAFX Award(2021), International Architecture Award (2022,2024), A' Design Award(2022), German Design Award(2022)and International Design Award (2021), etc.
