Cen Shen

Cen Shen is a New York based architectural designer and co-founder of CSLab. Her work explores how architectural form, landscape and material expression can create spaces that respond sensitively to people and place. Across projects ranging from mountain shelters to healthcare and civic architecture, she brings together spatial clarity, environmental responsibility and a thoughtful approach to human experience. At Elicc Group, she contributes to façade design development and technical coordination for high-rise projects in New York, connecting architectural intent with the precision of built detail. Her design work has received international recognition, including the iF Design Award and honours from the architectural master prize and A' Design Award. She also serves as a juror for the Wonder Global Awards, the Archi Award in Georgia and the INSPIRELI Awards. She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and is a LEED Green Associate.
