Femi has over 20 years of architectural experience in the Public & Institutional (P + I), Corporate, Commercial, High End Residential and Hospitality sectors. Since joining HOK in 1999, Femi has acted as architect and design manager for a number of prestigious projects. He has responsibility for the total running of projects from conception through to completion, encompassing client liaison, fee negotiations, project resource and budgeting, master planning, concepts, planning, design development, value engineering, contract administration, project and site management. As part of the Leadership Team at HOK, he is involved in the development and progression of many markets. He is the sector leader for government and cultural projects, responsible for marketing and securing new commissions in this sector. Outside of work, he sits on the RIBA University Validation Panel, is a Part 3 part time tutor at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and a Part 3 Professional Examiner at Cambridge University. He is also the Interim Chair of Architects for Change, a RIBA expert advisory group advising on aspects of inequality in the profession.
