Sofia Hagen joined Design Haus Liberty, an international, award winning architecture and interior practice, in spring 2015. As Design Partner she is responsible for the design development of numerous international projects in the UK and the China, including a 1.5m sqft commercial fit-out in Guangzhou. A confident, enthusiastic and creative professional, she gained interdisciplinary experience in architecture, interior design, exhibition development and graphic design while working in Vienna, Paris and London after having graduated with a Master of Architecture from Zaha Hadid's architectural design studio at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. After an interlude in Paris where she worked for Odile Decq Architects and trained as an interior designer, she relocated to London where she gained special expertise developing commercial, cultural and residential projects in the Middle East and China in her role as architectural designer at Zaha Hadid Architects, Acme Space and Make. She has lectured at the Chelsea College of Art and Design, exhibited at the International Architecture Biennale in Rotterdam, the MAK Vienna, the Arch Moscow and the Venice Biennale.
