Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt is an award-winning practice formed in 2005 and led by three directors: David Ayre, Matthew Chamberlain and Dominic Gaunt.
We are a progressive, creative and pragmatic architectural studio with a breadth of experience across many sectors including mixed-use, residential, commercial, cultural, community and education. This year we received the RIBAJ MacEwen award for The Point, a community project in Hampshire, and were named ‘BD Young Architect of the Year’.
We foster a culture of personal development believing our people are our greatest asset. Based in studios in London and Hampshire, we are continually learning, expanding our knowledge base and striving to realise our full potential.
We understand that projects are only successful if they involve everyone who has a stake in them: the everyday user, the visitor, the owner. So, we engage everyone, listening to their thoughts and ideas to get under the skin of projects, making them work from the inside out so they enhance the lives of the people who use them.
Whether working on contemporary new-builds, large-scale refurbishments or listed buildings, we are committed to delivering projects that are effective, appropriate and environmentally responsible.
We believe that at its best, architecture is bold, dynamic and innovative, and we strive to bring these qualities to our work.
