This WAN Best Modern Method of Construction (MMC) project award celebrates the innovation and new technology being applied to projects from BIM through offsite manufacture, modular units, 3D printing and mechanised installation techniques, all addressing this paradigm shift in our methods of construction.

Judging the entries will be a panel of industry experts who will be singling out projects that are leading the way in the new methodology. Their endorsement will lead to global recognition of your work, which will increase exposure to new international clients.

Judging Criteria

The judges will use their experience in the sector to assess your project on a number of factors to get to the short list including; Originality, Innovation, Form, Function, Sustainability and Context.

The shortlisted projects will then be tested to see whether your design has:

  • Addressed any key challenges within the client brief
  • Pushed the accepted boundaries for this building type

Presentation is also of great importance, and judges will be looking for your ability to communicate the 'story' of your building, from the initial concept through to its completion.

The competition is open to all projects built during the last three full calendar years, on or after 01 January 2015.

Entry Fees
